CSA Farm Shares
A Providence Farms CSA (Community Supported/Shared Agriculture) allows you to have access to high quality, farm fresh produce grown locally on our farm in Trenton, Missouri. When you become a member of our CSA, you are purchasing a “share” of our seasonal fruit and vegetable production. Weekly, from June through October, you receive a box of our great tasting produce delivered to your place of employment (Wellness in the Workplace CSA) or conveniently available for pick-up at the Liberty Farmers’ Market each Saturday or the Overland Park Farmers’ Market. For an additional fee, CSA members may also purchase a share of grass fed, hormone-free, antibiotic-free meat.
Each week, CSA members also receive the farmer’s choice of rotational items such as a dozen brown chicken eggs (pasture raised with organic vegetarian feed supplement), fresh baked breads, fresh churned butter, locally raised grains (whole wheat flour, corn meal, popcorn or oats), raw local honey, or granola cereals. On a recurring or week-by-week basis, each CSA member has the option of purchasing add-on items for their weekly delivery such as additional fruit or vegetables, raw local honey, fresh churned butter, brown eggs (pasture raised with organic vegetarian feed supplement), fresh cut flower bouquets, etc. As a CSA member, you also receive a recipe every week relating the to fresh produce in your CSA box and our weekly newsletter which offers nutritional information, fun veggie facts (Think Popeye and spinach!), updates about the farm and upcoming produce. Check out our BUY CSA page for share options and pricing.
